I didn't do any editing to this photo and the reason why is because I wanted the actual detail to shine through without additional editing that would actually change the over all look of this beautiful Phoenix!
When you use the HUD he will actually "burn out" then be reborn and grow into the adult glory you see here.

The Phoenix Companion is very easy to use. If you rez the phoenix companion and do nothing else, he will go through his life cycle. Once he turns grey and elderly, and begins to smoke, click him and he will burst into flame and be born again. Alternately, you may use to HUD to customize his behavior.
Phoenix HUD:
Aging Active - Toggles on and off the aging feature. If it is turned off the phoenix will simply stay at the same age until you turn it back on.
Manual Aging- When active, the phoenix will sparkle when it is ready to age up, and you must click it to proceed to the next life cycle.
Life Span - Lets you set how long your phoenix life cycle is.
Choose age - You may choose what age you would like to go to directly.
Decoration/Shoulder Pet
The decorative versions do not age, and do not respond to the hud. They are simply to be shoulder pets or to be rezzed decoratively.
