Rounding Out The Night

Sitting back enjoying a little peace after a day full of events...

Between RL and SL.

RL Zeke and I had a million things to do that was nonstop. I could have opted to stay at home and he wouldnt have minded but in reality I wanted to steal the time with him. I take as much as I'm given because I adore this man in every aspect. He's a brilliant, loving man, he's exceptionally romantic and an all around sweetheart that is handsome and he just gives off that certain kind of vibe that makes you want to be around him. I love being around him simply because of who he is and the person that he is. He's just one of a kind, but then again he is my Zeke. We did go out for dinner at a nice restaurant and he did get me a lovely card and a couple of red roses, he doesnt get me a dozen because I dont want him too. They only last a couple of days then they wither and die. The princess cut diamond necklace was precious. He doesnt have to do these things, I will love him no matter if its dinner, a card and a red rose or two. All I really want is him, he is the greatest gift I could ever be given and for that reason I truly am blessed.

It's now nearly 4 am in my RL time and I've only been done with my volunteer services for the amazing One Billion Rising and expressed my interest in being a part of it next year as well for a little over an hour, give or take. I'm thankful that I am a survivor and that I can tell my story and maybe help someone else in a similar situation and maybe help them get away and take their life back, inspiring others with your will and ambition to live and your success gives others hope, hope for a better tomorrow...Hope to start over anew on their own two feet in control of their own life once again and it feels damn good to be in control of yourself...Your mind, your body, your soul and the spark of live returns as you heal and become whole once again. Sure we will be damaged but were worthy!

So, basically the point of this blog is to show what I choose to wear with the uniform shirt that the OBR Team members wore and the over all look to the approach that I chose to do.

There is nothing flashy or fancy about me here. I wore no makeup I opted out of skin showing clothing other than whats seen from the tares in my jeans and no sexy boots or high heels. My hair in a messy bun. Yet I am still beautiful in my own skin without all the glitz, glam and fancy makeup and clothing.

 Why did I choose to do this?

I wanted to go natural without being dressed attractively. 

I stood at my post dancing rising for my sisters who have been abused in various ways without excluding any form of abuse. Domestic Violence is only one form of the MANY abuse methods us women face. The scars are still there, Im still healing and I will be just fine so what I am showing is the person behind the glitz, glam and fancy makeup is beautiful even with all her flaws and scars. Just like each and every other woman that has been through the hellish abuse cycle.

I felt a bit 80's ish today. Zeke and I was slow dancing at home last night in RL (him doing his romantic thing, which I love) and we were listening to...Here it comes the dating nostalgia (laughs)...Lionel Richie's - Greates Hits....Alexa is AWESOME by the way! So, as I'm getting ready to go to work at Evolve located on the BOSL Sim in Secondlife while he's doing his RL payroll on the laptop in our home office, I thought why not do a little 80's retro with a little bit of a hip updated flare to go to work tonight. After I did the styling, I liked it so much I decided to do the notes for the styling so I could blog it later on tonight. I'll be on SL a little later tonight since it's Sunday night and he get's ready for the week ahead (does this every Sunday). Sometimes it's easy and relatively quick and other times it can be a nightmare....Especially if there are new hires. I may go in and see if I can help him do anything, which sometimes I can. *Smiles in RL* When I can help I feel like I've done something that is rewarding because I help him get done quicker so I can curl up in the chair with him and snuggle up with him but I have to shamefully admit that I'm really there just to be in his arms and the kisses are bonus. Of course he keeps teasing and taunting me about Valentines Day, so I can't wait (I'm excited and a little impatient to see what he's done this year, it was very sweet and romantic last year) until Valentines Day, because he said he has a surprise for me and that I will love it....I think I'll end up crying (yes he is just that sweet and a true romantic). OK, I need to head to work, I'm always early because I prefer punctuational. So without any further ado let's get style savvy and oh so sassy!

What A Beautiful Day

A beautiful day at our home in Secondlife. It's a bright sunny day. No clouds and all blue and beautiful sky. Makes you feel like summer is ever lasting...In that respect it is for a select few of us in RL and everyone benefits in SL. It's been a nice day in Lakeland Florida today a lovely 75 as the night ages forward it's cooled to a mere 70 still warm enough for a sweater and a romantic walk on the beach....Which is just what we did a couple of hours ago when the twilight was birthing the night. So beautiful and now we will soon be retiring to the family room to snuggle in the over sized chair by the fireplace as Secondlife becomes a thought for the reminder of the night. I know that I will be back here sometime tomorrow whenever we get back home and Zeke goes into his home office to work on things for Monday, so I think I'll go ahead and get to the meaty goodness of this post so that I can go snuggle with my sexy man.

I Got A Feeling.....

I know it feels just right (Walks around singing I got a feeling by the  Black Eyed Peas) when you find that perfect summery type dress that you want to hang out or lounge around in all day during the cooler times but to be honest I am ready for fun in the sun! While the temps here in Lakeland Flare moderate and comfortable its far too chilly for me to want to be a total beach bum, but soon! I have a perfect outfit for when that time comes to blog...Even though I could totally blog it now as the weather is anything you want it to be here in SL. But for now Im lovin the colors and the style of my little beachy tease and I'm patiently waiting for when I can go lounge on our deck and swim in the in ground pool we have, Life is good and it doesnt matter which world Real Life or Second Life they are one in the same to me and it's all credited to the fact the two have merged nicely and became one. I'm getting ready for a job interview today and it's a professional position. It's not as a DJ or any part of a Club here in Secondlife.

As you can see the outfit I have chosen is classy and traditional for a profession within the professional workforce. While I will still be involved in clubs and doing my modeling and personal businesses such as Antisocial and Mera Luna Couture I choose to add other branches to my tree of employment.

By now, I'm sure your dying to know just what it is that I'm applying for....

Well to be honest it's a teaching job at a local high school here in Secondlife.

I won't disclose much more information about it just yet, only for the in case reason that I may or may not be hired. It does depend on my look, and my over all presentation of the class pitch and anything else I wish to strive for within this teaching position. I'd like to get it just simply because it wouldnt be a hard to follow class and the clubs I propose would be fun for all who'd choose to join them.

No, this isnt a RP for sex in the schools....This is a school that is teacher student based and it's about the actual RP of how school was and can be relived within your second life. I don't need into the debauchery RP for schools, to me that isn't fun and it's actually just creepy.

So, what I will do is once I find out if I've been hired...I'll post another blog as an update blog with a whole new look and background for the stage setting of the reveal...Did I or Didn't I?

Hello!

As I return to the modeling world I am delighted to see the shows again with all of their flash and flair, I feel like a child in a candy store when I attend these events.

Granted, I can't attend them all because I think my darling husband Zeke would protest it, only because when he wants to go somewhere in RL he wants to go not login on SL with me so that I can go to a fashion show lol.
It's OK thought because there are times I'd just rather go be with him on a beach somewhere.
I do like to dabble in SL while he is doing things for his business or working from home, I don't pass a moment up to spend time with him, no no because I'd rather spend my time with him in the first place.

While our lives change between the real world and the virtual world, we're still the same people, still married in the virtual world while we are together in the real world. That comes from knowing him in RL for many years and attending school together. Lol so the answer is No, we didn't meet online.

I have a crazy time adjusting to the time difference lol.
As silly as it seems I went from being 2 hours ahead of SL to now being 3 hours ahead of SL and I can't shake that lol.
One would think as long as I have been here I would have adjusted to that.
Real Life wise I have but its the SL+2 hours verses SL+3 hours that gets me every time lol.

What I enjoy the most with returning to the modeling world is the creativity within your fashion designs and styling's.

I'll be doing a series of blogs for Just Evolve since I am a new Live model for them and which is also a part of BOSL and company and located at The BOSL Pavillian. Which you can go to the logo for Just Evolve and click it and get a teleport directly to the store, but if your going to go why not have a look at the beautiful sim while your there? There are stores a plenty and its just a lovely place with a lovely little garden too.
